The project
The Seestar S50 is a remarkable instrument for astrophotography, but it lacks a few practical accessories to get the most out of it. This pack of 5 3D-printed parts addresses those needs.
Pack contents
- Protective cap — protects the lens during transport
- Anti-stray-light baffle — reduces unwanted reflections during sessions
- Newton diffraction spike mask — gives stars Newton-style diffraction spikes
- JWST diffraction spike mask — gives stars James Webb-style diffraction spikes
- Bahtinov mask — enables precise focusing
Modular design
Each part mounts with a clip system, no tools required. The modules are compatible with each other and allow for additional custom accessories to be created.
As each part is handcrafted, please allow approximately 7 days for manufacturing, plus shipping time.
